INTELLIGENT ANPR VIDEO CAMERA
This intelligent video camera is designed for automatic number-plate recognition (ANPR) and vehicle position determination on a road section. The camera also provides video surveillance and automatic vehicle classification features.

DESIGN AND OPERATION PRINCIPLE
The video camera is made in compact self-enclosed body and equipped with embedded software. In is installed at height of several meters on a stationary support (lighting pole, framework support etc.) either on any roadside or directly above the road. System setup and alignment are performed remotely using the Web interface.
The «GROM-1» video camera may simultaneously control three traffic lanes. The camera performs automatic number plate recognition and streams the gathered data in real time, including the photos of entire controlled area and close-up views of captured vehicles with visible number plates.
The number plate recognition process is performed along the entire controlled area. The camera also collects the traffic statistics among all passed vehicles.
The cameramay be used as a key part of intellectual transport and traffic enforcement systems.
